New Years Resolutions

hi friend!
I don't know about you, but as the new year has been creeping closer, I've been in mental overdrive making lists and plans for all the things I want to accomplish in 2025.
To a fault, I am a type A personality. Give me all the lists, checkboxes, etc. There's nothing like putting that checkmark out to the side or crossing something off your to-dos. {chef's kiss}

For someone like me, thinking ahead to the new year is so exciting and refreshing!
There are so many goals that I have, not only in my personal life, but also with my business. I created my public accounts back in October, but really in the last few weeks I've taken steps to try to grow. It's really fun to see the analytics behind each post I create + trying to work with the algorithms, but I would be lying if I said it isn't also a little nerve wracking wondering if a post will do well or trying to figure out how to grow organically, when really, I have no clue what I'm doing. Fake it till you make it, right?
Maybe that's a little too vulnerable, but we're keeping it real around here.
In order to keep myself accountable to the things I hope to accomplish, I want to put them out into the world.
So, here's my 2025 list of New Year's Resolutions...
Grow my following on Instagram/Facebook to 1000+ organically. Easier said than done, but I'm determined to make it happen.
Walk 30 minutes daily (no excuses). I did this back in 2023 and it changed the game for me. Unfortunately, I let the ball drop in 2024, so I'm picking back up where I left off.
Drink 1/2 gallon of water daily. Again, this is something I did back in 2023 that really benefited me, and I let things slide this past year. Back on the train for 2025.
Read through the Bible in a year. This past year I used The Bible Recap reading plan, and I'm happy to say I made it through the entire plan. If I'm being honest, this may have been the first time in my whole life I've consistently stuck to the plan all year. My hope is to start it all over again in January.
Make time for new hobbies + cultivate joy. I'll be the first to admit, 2024 has not been the best year of my life for a variety of reasons. In 2025, I'm committing to bringing the joy back. Discovering new interests + hobbies. Investing in myself, so I can invest in others.
This is certainly not an exhaustive list. Just a few tangible things I'm working towards in the next 12 months. I hope you will join me in creating a list for yourself and going after those goals. Let's do it together and make 2025 the best year yet! In case you need a fun planner to get you organized, I'm linking a few cute ones below.
